for Conference and Show
Attendees
PIOGA’s Eastern Oil & Gas Conference and Trade Show
outgrew its former venue in Erie and has moved to the Monroeville Convention
Center, which is not only larger but also is located more conveniently to
much of the region’s oil and gas industry. Our 2010 show features some 275
companies exhibiting the latest in products and services available to the
exploration and production industry in Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
The show is fully one-third larger than the 2009 event—and once again is
sold out.
|
To attend just the show,
without the conference:
Cost: $25 at the door
(no advance tickets), good for both days
Show hours:
Tuesday, August 31 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, September 1 - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
See below for exhibitor list,
directions and other information |
The huge potential of the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania
and neighboring states has thrust our industry into the spotlight, sometimes
for the better, sometimes for worse. Even if you are involved in drilling
and producing only from conventional formations, your activities are
affected by the Marcellus in one way or another. The conference portion of
the event will focus on how Marcellus exploration is changing the landscape
for all of us—from government initiatives to operational practices to public
opinion.
Conference registrants will have plenty of opportunity to
visit the indoor and outdoor exhibits, beginning with an exclusive Show
Preview Reception the evening of Monday, August 30. The show opens to the
general public the next morning at 9, but the conference programming doesn’t
start until 1 p.m., again giving you a chance to make the rounds of
exhibits. As you can see from the accompanying agenda, our schedule is built
so you can balance your time between the programming and the show floor.
It’s going to be a great event. Make sure you register by the August 23 deadline.
